Serving our community for over a century
Melbourne Furnishing Co.’s story began in 1910 when Wonthaggi’s coal mine opened, and Samuel Abraham saw the opportunity to make a new life for his family.
So, with his wife and two children, he opened Wonthaggi’s first-ever brick-and-mortar store – the beginning of the Melbourne Furnishing Company story.
Today, Sam’s great-granddaughter, Talia, strives to provide the best quality products to suit her customers’ needs.
